The Speciality Coffee Association of Europe (SCAE) is an association with members looking for coffee excellence. With members in more than 70 countries (not just Europe), with national chapters in a growing number of these countries, on the ground locally to meet the needs of members, working within their own national coffee traditions.

SCAE is a recognised force with governments and international organisations on a global level, lobbying strongly for the cause of quality coffee.

Together with the Speciality Coffee Association of America, they represent the speciality sector on the United Nations International Coffee Organization's (ICO) Private Sector Consultative Board. SCAE spearheaded the drive, now taken up by the ICO, to develop alternative uses for poor quality coffee and to remove it from the world market.

Web Development Consultancy act as web host and technical consultants supporting SCAE's internal teams in their day-to-day use of their Joomla CMS powered website. We also developed a number of searchable databases of members, trainers and certified baristas. We take care of all of the organisations website maintenance, security and back-up requirements.
