In March of, Bridge & Wickers became part of The Ultimate Travel Company, another independently owned tour operator. In The Ultimate Travel Company (TUTC) retained Web Development Consultancy Ltd to undertake a new website build, migrating across their current content which was within ZOO.

At this point, Bridge & Wickers already retained Web Development Consultancy Ltd for an ongoing Joomla Support contract which they took out. From we gained a better understanding of their Joomla 1.5 powered web site so were the ideal company to undertake such a task.

What we did

• Migrated their current ZOO content (3,000+ articles and just under 1,000 categories) from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5
• Identified the best extensions for them so they could easily manage their website
• Developed a custom Joomla template to match their requirements
• Developed a custom Joomla extension that would allow B&W/TUTC to place a 'interstitial' landing page for any 404
